Wiba’s activities

In the following the most significant activities of the coordination centre of
wiba are presented in excerpts:
Evaluation of project-applications and -suggestions; initiation and
examination of projects as well as the discussion of many further different
project conceptions.
PR and events:
- wiba brochures: In order to inform the public about the wiba a brochure
was designed in English and German language.
- Press releases, lectures and internet appearances to be seen at
www.wiba.de
- wiba was represented at numerous exhibitions, amongst others at the
Hanover exhibition 1998 - 2003, the Hypothesis IV exhibition in Stralsund as
well as at the Hydrogen-Expo 2001 in Hamburg
- Ground-breaking ceremony of the ARGEMUC – project
- Meetings of the Round Table (Runder Tisch) concerning the criteria for
the evaluation of project applications and discussions about recent
developments in the hydrogen – technology were organised; approach to
several decision-makers in enterprises, power companies and to the public
authorities
- Organisation of the events “Day of the Hydrogen” on 2nd July 1998 and
“Days of the Fuel Cell” on 8th May 2000 at the Bavarian State Ministry for
Economic Affairs, Infrastructure, Transport and Technology with about 200
participants each
- Organisation of the symposium “Hydrogen technology and fuel cells” on
6th March 2002 in Nuremberg with approximately 500 participants
- In cooperation with the Bayern Innovativ GmbH: Organisation of the
symposium “The fuel cell in stationary use” on 29th October 2003 in Munich
- You can get a broad overview in wiba–activities and the recent state of
hydrogen technology in Bavaria with the wiba book, which was published in
autumn 2002.
